Cut every high rusted bolt with a gringer.

Use 6mm hex for prop shaft and /or 12 corners torkx , if it does not
works use Vise Grip.

When you ll put back the exhaust use 8.8 grade bolt at least and put
teflon on them to prevent water goes on the treads....
Change CV joint bolt for the new ones. Audi use hex head on later
models...

Rebuilt the prop shaft while in there ;-). i sand blast mine and rebuilt
it, is like a new one .
Change CV boots if thy are cracked.
My 100Q 1989 are like new and my A4 seems to be 20 years old ;-(
