1988 90Q

when i start my 90q there's sort of tapping sound in the engine for the first second or two then it disappears...it only happens when i start the car after parking it overnight or for long periods of time....does this have something to do with the oil settling??
 
.in addition there's some blue smoke right after starting then it disappears...could it be the head gasket??...i haven't had the car tuned up for a while...
 
the driver side fog light isn't functioning...the passenger side is just fine...any tips on testing the wiring??
