90q drivers side rear seat battery relocation?

I have this elaborate stereo/side exhaust/battery
relocation idea running through my head.  All of this
to basically open up more space in the trunk, and to
get rid of the press bent 3" mess of an exhaust going
over the rear diff right now.

I'd like to relocate an Optima battery under the
drivers side rear seat.  I briefly glanced at it
tonight, and the most obvious obstacle is the fuel
pump and filter.  It needs to be on the drivers’ side
because the exhaust is going out the other side.

Has anyone done this before with out disturbing the
fuel pump and filter too much?  Hell I guess I can
always move that to. :)

Here it is in a CQ, I'm not sure how different they
are from the type 89 sedans in that area.
