Not broken studs but manifold cracks.  We now susspect the major cause to be failure of the
right side engine mount, usually caused in its turn by the fauilure of hte heat shield
(ur-quattro) or the absence of the air duct (Type 44).

As far as I'm aware _NO_ two-parts were ever fitted by the factory.

There were two, bolted to the wastegate at the top and held to the engine via the transmission
bolts.  They don't seem to help and we now routinely leave them off.
