I have both a 5k and 91 200 20v. The K24 *does* spool up really early,
but I've heard it's not good for much past stock boost. In fact, on my
20v it starts to lose boost at higher RPM's.

I posed a similar question about putting a K26 on a modified 20V, and
most every reply I got said that would be a downgrade. I'm sure it's
capable of more boost, but the boost threshold would not produce much
boost at low RPM's. I wouldn't expect it to spool up anywhere before 3k.

What about hybrid turbos? Any benefit to putting a K26 compressor on a
K24 turbine? I know I can't afford a RS2 turbo any time soon.

As for the K24 on a 10V head, I thought all the US 200's (starting in
89) had K24's on them. I haven't owned one though, so I can't comment much.
