any parts degreaser solvent recommendations NOT gasoline

This is effectively what we have at the shop except ours is a bit larger. It
is a fridge sized steel container with swing open front door. It has a
rotating basket and the lower 1 1/2 feet is a tank that feeds a large pump.
It uses a water base degreaser and pumps the degreaser at high pressure thru
a pipe inside that has holes drilled in it. The tank has a heater and there
is a timer switch. Put your parts in the basket, close and latch the door,
set the timer and walk away. The basket rotates anytime the timer is on and
the pump runs anytime the door is closed and the timer is on. The heater
maintain the temp you set it to.
The big problem what to do with the waste. We have to have Safety Clean come
out and drain it and clean out all the sediment and then refill it. I think
they come ever other month. We have to add some water periodically and we
have some degreaser (powder) that we add between services. California
considers the waste to be toxic and we can't dispose of it or service the
machine ourselves.
It really does a nice job of cleaning. I can fit a complete transaxle in it
and it comes out looking brand new.
Jim
