type 44 headlights - 4X6 in a 200

The discussion about 4K headlights begs the question is it possible to 
take the early type 44 4x6 buckets and trim and install them in an '89 
200?  I thought I recalled seeing a picture of this somewhere, but of 
course, I can't find it now that I'm looking for it.

I have a set of 4X6 E-code bosch lights, and I would consider this to be a 
significant upgrade over the stock aerodynamic lenses, although I don't 
know what it would do for looks.

If it works, then the challenge would be finding the buckets and trim - 
what would be the donor vehicle - only an 84 5000?
