OK guys, here it is - remember the Audi four-rings keychain which someone
had available about six years ago? It is just the four rings on a short
chain, not an emblem printed or painted on a disc, or anything like that.
The rings were silver, and the metal was slightly soft. (Probably recycled
stock from team doorhandle).

Anyway, mine finally broke, and I want another. The tab where it attaches
to the chain broke, so I gently flexed it back and then tried to add a dab
of solder - and the melting point of the keychain was lower than the
melting point of the solder - pfft - the tab evaporated.

I think these were about ten bucks.

I also see quite a bit of talk about type 44 Eurolights, and the ongoing
discussion of less expensive alternatives. Unfortunately, on this if you
pay less you get less. The cure for not being able to see where you are
going at night is a set of Eurolights, and I went round and round trying to
avoid this expense and finally bit the bullet and installed them in my 86 5K.

In fact, I imported 15 sets of them and sold them on this list - they went
for $350 a set, and they flat simply worked. The difference is amazing. If
you want to solve the problem once and for all, and solve it right, this is
the way.

I have one set left which I was going to put into my 5KTQ, but when I
bought the V8, I decided not to, so the lights (and the 5KTQ) are for sale.
(Also the 5K). Contact me off-list for discussion on this.

How's that for priorities? I wanna BUY a keychain, and SELL some decent
headlights!

Also, remember a year or so ago when I traded a 1:43 metal model of a Zil
sedan for a sunroof motor? Well I've just gotten three more 1:43 metal
models as a return for one of the businesses I manage - Another Zil, a VAZ
2106, and a Niva, which looks like a Suzuki Samurai half-convertible.
Again, contact me off-list on these, they'll go about $10 each.

Best Regards,
Mike Arman
