My 95 90 sport q's electronics is behaving like a microsoft product

Greetings all,

A quirky problem just began occuing a couple weeks ago.  The first time I thought it was just a an accident now I am getting concerned.

Every few days when I turn on the car after driving than stopping the head lights dont go on again.  Simpley turning off the ignition and back on again fixes it.  The same has also occured with the dash outside temp indicator and the window switches at the same time.

My guess is its a bad relay someplace.  But since it has happened on more than one circuit this is puzzling.

Any idea where to start diagnosing this one?

Please dont tell me that Audi has subcontracted out their electronics to Microsoft.  Say it isnt so.
