Check the level in the expansion tank, you may just be a little low and
acceleration (in a 4kq?) is letting the float trigger the light.

Well, if you're going to do the radiator, it makes sense to do the
t-stat as well (and hoses), and flush and fill the whole system with
nice clean coolant.  Also, that stop leak makes me nervous, it can clog
in weird places.

Even with the temperature lever on cold?  Check the heater valve and see
if it is operating properly.
