Hello list,
I'm a lurker.
Thanks for the great list, tons of great info here.
Regarding politics: To be offended by an idea is a
symptom of a very weak mind and weak constitution. To
disagree is your freedom, and mine. To force others
to go on the defensive because of your weakness is
pathetic. Go away, and bury your head, for the world
exists, whether you like it or not. The
responsibility for your mind is yours, not ours.
A better approach on your part would have been to
attach an opposing view in YOUR sig line. Don't
trample others, or you WILL be trampled. High-horse
much? Come on down. Engage your mind.

Ok, so I have a '87 4kcsq. Recently had issues with
the parking lights, found switches to cost
$40...choked...then found the problem to be a bent
clip in the receiving end of the little harness clip.
Lights work now...yay. Moral is, don't go buying a
switch until you look a little closer...

Cooling issues bleh. After my car warms up, the
coolant temp warning light will blink when I'm
accelerating, lightly or otherwise. The needle on the
temp guage seems to disagree, as it barely gets above
halfway, at one point I did see it get closer to 3/4.
The oil temp hasn't gone above 130*C in my so far
limited driving of it. I want to replace the radiator
anyway, because the PO did say he had a leak and used
stop-leak in it. I'd rather just start out with a
good one. But I'm also wondering if the problem could
be a thermostat? I guess I'll just replace the
shoot-n-match for peace of mind.

Also, my side vents ALWAYS blow hot air, even with the
blower switch off. GRR.

Regards,
Kevin
