My son's 1990 200tq sedan front pads & sensors were recently replaced. Old pads were not badly worn and as such warning system did not indicate worn pads. Since new pads were installed, warning indicator now goes off when car is started. It can be reset using reset stem on dash and warning stays off until vehicle is restarted. Unplugged both wear sensors and warning light stays on. Resistance test on sensors reads 0 ohms on each side.

Replugged sensors and I'm back to warning light which will reset. So I repeat the ritual every time vehicle is started.

Ideas for permanent fix?
Mike
