The balancer is not a good guide, it can shift over time.

So you're ok there anyway.

Although there may be one, it sort of doesn't matter. I actually
re-aligned the one in my couep so the metal locking clips would be
easier to get to. All that happens is that the housing has to be
rotated to line up with the gear/shaft/rotor position.
