Control arm ball-joint bolt torque (to stretch or not to stretch)

So, I'm finally about ready to bring my 5kT back on its wheels... but I'm not sure about the torque setting for the control arm ball-joint bolt that bolts to the bottom of the strut housing. Also, I can't figure out if the bolt is a stretch type. On pg. 40.5 of the Bentley, it says to tighten to 48 ft-lbs, but on pg 40.2 it says 48 ft-lbs plus 90 deg's. But on pg. 40.2 the text is pretty close to the subframe mount bolts which I know are stretch type. Can anyone verify if the ball-joint bolts are s'posed to be stretched? This seems like another mistake in one of the Bentley drawings. For now, I bought new bolts and nuts but I only have it tightened to 40 ft-lbs. Thanks for any info.
