Hard to tell, since I am not familiar with the "newer" models, 
especially ones that have 200,000 on them.

One thing is true, hoever, and that is that the old 5 cylinder engine 
and the drivetrains from back then were built like tanks.  Overbuilt.

When someone can take the same block and drivetrain that's in my 130hp 
'89 90Q and run several hundred horsepower through them without breaking 
anything, I suspect I'm carrying around more iron than necessary.  Which 
does tend to make the parts last.
