Boost to only 1.5

Adam,

You should see 1.8 on the dash readout.

You may have an intake leak somewhere before the throttle body.  A small leak in the intercooler to throttle (michelin man) hose would be hard to detect, but cause this.

Did you install a bypass valve?  I had this happen when I incorrectly plumbed in mine.

Howdy All,

I've an '87 5kCSTQ Avant with QLCC chip and 1.8 spring (courtesy of Ben
Swann). My BAR only hits 1.5, and every once and a while it'll hit 1.6. I've
checked all my vacuum hoses and strapped the intercooler, but can't seem to
get it any higher. Compression is good, no smoking ever, not even an oil
leak... Is this normal? Should I be seeing 1.8 on the gauge?
