BTW, there are 2 types of Pentosin. Pentosin 11 is for later cars, like the 200. Pentosin 7.1 is for earlier car's like the 5000. I think the main difference is that the later type is synthetic, and of course the price. If you want to switch to the synthetic, you probably should flush out the entire system unless you know there's no Pentosin 7.1 or even worse in there. I personally use the earlier version cuz that was what it was designed for, the cheaper cost and the car won't really see extreme temps...
Although you can get cheaper alternatives like mineral oil, I'd only go w/ something Audi recommended for the hydraulic system. I think the fluid cost shouldn't be a big issue unless you have a major leak in the system. If you have a leak in your system, you should fix that pronto cuz the fluid isn't cheap like reg P/S fluid. The Pentosin cans are large and should last a long time if the system is in good shape.
You can find a good deal at:

OR

and many other worldpac distributors.

Kyle,
"green gold" is just a nickname for G002000 (AKA Pentosin CHF 11S).
It's named that because the fluid is green, it comes in a green can, and
is pretty spendy, as car fluids go ($15+/liter). I'm not entirely sure
how mugh the stealership will charge for it, any listers know?
