hot start problem now

Folks,

I posted a generic question 4/26 ("high idle help needed") which didn't 
draw a single response. Maybe the question was too general...?

For those who want to take a BTDT shot a it, here's another data point: 
with the sudden increase in outside temps during the last week, the car 
had gotten hard to start (required lots of cranking, and a half-open 
throttle helped). But, when the temp dropped to 40F this morning she 
fired right up.

What gremlins does this '89-100Q have?
