Advice on Audi A6 4D purchase....

Hi,

I am new to the Audi Club. I am afraid I am not a huge car fan in general 
and am thus sort of a novice to all this.
I am considering buying a 1995 Audi A6 3L 4D Automatic.
It has about 80000 miles on it and has all the standard accessories and is 
priced at $6,800.

It will be my first car and I intend to keep it for 3-4 years.
(1) Can someone tell me if thats a good buy or shall I look for something 
newer?
(2) As a general rule, do Audi's give trouble free performance for say 
120,000 miles or there about?
