Aha!!! I was looking on the front, where, iirc, it was on my cgt..........

Yep, had some conflicting figures for that, I even recall the Bentley
mentioning a few different static timing figures....
Although this cam definitely  likes a good dose of advance to keep it idling
well enough.

That's what I figured all along, with only one reference (Hall sensor) it
doesn't know if you adjust the timing, and all timing values after that are
from that point.
Anyway... I got on with fitting my middle exhaust section last nite from
custom autocraft, ended up with something in my eye and had to stop, when I
get that on I shall spend a bit of time with mixture and timing. Then on
with megasquirt....
