Hey Tom!

I actually had a similar issue with my Ur-Q... it didn't smoke, I 
opened it up and it was just melted... I ended up having to replace my 
signal/wiper assembly... along with the ign switch... :o(  I am not 
sure the cause though, I do know when I was running my euros without 
relays... it would heat up and burn the switch quick.... just to much 
electrical going through the system...
