80/4000 suspension interchangeability

I have an '88 80Q which I'm slowly rebuilding the suspension
on, if I can get it to hold still long enough (140 miles a
day).  I discovered that the control arms are the same as
the ones on my poor old 4000, so I swapped those after
replacing the bushings.  My question is this: what other
front end parts are the same on these cars? I have new strut
cartridges for the 80, but don't really want to have the car
torn apart all weekend while I track down a spring
compressor and the tools to disassemble the strut.  If the
4000 strut housing and spring is the same, that would be
really nice.  Either reply to me directly or to the list.
