Ah, that was the other thing about the ng head was it not? Sodium filled
valves I believe....

You can't just swap the turbo pistons into a 2.3 block
because the bore is different.  You can use the head
on a turbo block, but you will not have sodium filed
exhaust valves, which is a no no in my book on a turbo
motor.
