Need info on Cylinder head removal - Progress Report

I got most of the stuff disconnected from the head.
I still have to disconnect the exhaust from the downpipe. Will try that
tomorrow.

I cannot loosen the camshaft gear bolt. The Haynes "screwdriver against the
gear teeth" trick is bullshit. All it does is bend the adjacent standoff.
I'll make a crank holding tool tomorrow.

The valve cover nuts are rusted, corroded, eaten away. I had to grind off
one nut and bolt. Three other nuts come off with the stud attached . . .no
problem . . took them off a little at a time while lifting the valve cover.
After removing the valve cover, the ground off stud came out with vice
grips.

I need a tool for the head bolts. The head bolts are listed as M11x1, 5X96,
"bolt with polygon socket hd"
I guess this means an 11 mm triple square. Is that correct? Does Sears carry
this tool?
