4k heater hose size?

There are three molded hoses, usually available through import car part 
specialists.  Due to the bends in them, I don't think you could use 
plain old hose.

No, there is a cable operated valve in the circuit (that's why there are 
three hose pieces).  It is hanging around in midair behind the head.  It 
is directly actuated by the temperature control lever on the HVAC panel.
