The dealers will always figure out a way to screw you..... I was looking to trade our '99 Ford Crapstar van in on a Honda Pilot last fall - the value of my van at the time (trade-in) was $5,000. I went to the local Honda shop (which had a link to kbb.com on their website) and they were only going to give me $3200 for the car - when I questioned the kbb value they gave me some nonsense about not using Kelly but some other valuation guide! They never did explain why they linked to Kelly on their web-site. I walked out.
