96 A6 IC cluster parts

I can't take it any more. The display for the outside temp does not light up within my intrument cluster. I pulled the whole thing apart tonight hoping it would be just a bulb, of course, it doesn't appear that I am nearly that lucky. 

So, I'm wondering if anyone has any idea where I can get a new outside temp display. While I had it apart, I noticed that the base for the check engine light is missing the tab that holds it in place. So, if there's a good way to replace base...

Is my best bet finding a scrap yard?
