Removing brake booster on '95 A6qm

I'm trying to remove my brake booster so that I can replace the 
powersteering high pressure hose.  I'm having a heck of a time removing 
the last nut from the brake booster.  As far as I can tell, I need to 
fish a long extension through the hole in the brake pedal bracket that 
is between the clutch and brake pedal arms.  I can see the bolt through 
the hole, if I do some interesting contortions I can touch it, but I 
can't seem to get it off.  I assume that the fourth nut is the same size 
head as the other three, right?  What I though was going to be an easy 
hose replacement has turned into a royal headache.  I've already managed 
to kill three hours trying to get that one stinking bolt off.  Any help 
would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I already found the tip about using a 1/4" extension.
