I bent the stem of the ball while applying BFH+punch method,  then I scored the
ball trying to get it out from the lever.  After that I ordered new lever from a
dealer with confidence that I am doing right thing now.  But, in general,
brazing,  I think, was the righ path.  It was big enough gap between the lever
and the the ball (on stem) to flow brazing metal inside,  I think.
