replacing steering rack

Getting the rack out through the drivers side as the manual dictates proved to be damn near impossible.  Take it out the passenger side.

I 'm ready to replace a remanufacted steering rack in a 88 5ktq ....any
and all types of advice for the work to be done would be greatly
