Heater Core-ectomy Gory Details Part 1

Truth is the root of good humor, it looks like the access to some of Audi's 
parts can make a long thread. I like the comment about Audi not wanting to 
admit that a part might go bad and have to be changed .... the air filter in my 
4KQ & 80Q comes to mind  ....maybe next time I will get out the Sawsall!

BTW, my 80Q has had the heater core disconnected all summer, the new one is 
in the trunk and I am thinking about selling the car that way. (My son lost a 
heater core in his Ford Ranger, the part cost $23 and it took 10 min. to 
install)
