Tell me about it. I have a '95 S6 and a '93 Corrado VR6. With the Corrado,
which is a full 1000 lbs lighter, the brakes are an absolute joy to use.
The car has 72k miles (practically all of it around town driving) on the
original pads and rotors and they still feel phenomenal. The S6 is
downright scary with that G60 downgrade that we got because AoA felt the
need to offer an optional 15" all-season tire on it. At least the rest of
the world got 314mm rotors, and the same style calipers as the HP-2 found on
the new S4 and A6 2.7T.
