Well.................I don't have kids but I don't have any desire to
kill other drivers or operate an unsafe motor vehicle.

That said, if I wanted a sytem that could tell me about things "I can't
see" (at least while driving), I'd need a system that monitored dozens
of things, including but not limited to the entire steering system, worn
tie rods, even steering column etc (rag joints on trucks too), the
entire brake system including some way to monitor the seals in the
master cylinder, tires that are not only monitored for pressure but also
monitored for tread depth and bubbles, bulges and punctures while
driving. The list could go on and on on

And I don't think anyone can deny that Audi has a higher occurrence of
electrical gremlins than many other manufacturers.......perhaps if Audi
was truly concerned w safety they should have designed a warning system
which will work as long as the rest of the car (the whole argument of
manufacturers considering 100k miles a "lifetime" aside)

Do you carry your children in this car?

Do you love your children?

The answer to one of the above must be "No". Or - you haven't looked
in
the driver's handbook. How the hell else do you know that the
hydraulic pump is failing to deliver adequate pressure?

Sure - it bitches about trivial stuff. But whose fault is that? It
also bitches about stuff you can't see. That might kill you.
Frankly,
I don't give a stuff about that - but I would care if you killed your
wife or children.
