If anybody is into a construct it yourself effort, I've got a 5 cyl
diesel sitting in the garage.  It's a 2.0L from about an '81 Audi 5K.
I stashed it when I had the '86 5kCSTQ, figuring when the I5 gas
engine gave up I'd insert the diesel, fabricate a turbo installation,
and go from there.  When I parted with the '86 5kCSTQ it had 205K miles
and was still running fine - so the Quattro Diesel project never happened.

This could be had for a good home on a very reasonable basis ...
