I think '84 was a transition year so you might either have the smaller
9.1" front discs or the larger 10.1" ones.  The latter of course is
preferrable.  If you must replace the 10.1 discs they are the same as those
on the Scirocco 16V.  The caliper and its frame for the 10.1" brakes are
bigger than the 9.1" ones, but they bolt to the same holes on the
strut housing with no modification needed.

As for the rear drums, I believe they are all the same size.  The only
difference being the 4x100 v. 4x108 holes on the drum itself, of course.
