how to determine hose sizes??

Actually, this hose won't be seeing any brake fluid...This line is the return line for the brake bomb, which is only mineral oil. Most fuel hoses are made of nitrile rubber which is fine for many types of fluids including fuel, oil, and brake fluid too.

   Personally I would shy away from using just any FLAPS hose for this
   application as brake fluid can do bad things to some types of rubber.
   Of course the kind you decide on might be right, but I'm happier having
   the right stuff on my car.
   The correct replacement hose has a blue woven cover on it.
