Sobering VW Article?

Nothing new, just finally has hit the mainstream/lamestream news. Piech's
folly has been discussed for a while now. It just shows what group-think
(and, fear of losing your job) does to most people: makes them yes-men.

The auto press tripped over themselves calling the Phaeton wonderful, while
still commenting on "how tough it will be to convince the Americans to buy a
$60K+ VW"...because they didn't want to give up all the freebies, nice
trips, etc. So the group-think extends past the employees of VW, to all who
suckle on the teat of the auto industry.

It's a bland, overweight, overpriced car. And the giant VW badge is a big
negative to people with lot$ of dollar$.
