Jeff,
I thought my Lower IC hose was good until it had a split
seam about 1" long and was crumbling. The only sure
fire way to check is to remove the bumper (easy job,
2 8mm Allen screws under the bumper supports, slide
forwards, a little clunky going back on though) so that
you have FULL view access of the lower IC hose. There
are two types of lower hoses, so if there is a split, it's
best to take the whole thing off so that you get the corrrect
replacement. Can't recall whom I used for a vendor.
The other possibility (this sure sounds totally like a leak
to me, believe me, my 200Q has had me find all of them!)
could be the intercooler itself, usually at the seams of the
end tanks to the core. Easiest telltale way to find this is to
check for oil on the bottom of the IC at the seams, or look
along the topside of the lower core support. Ask me how
I know....
