Type 44 Rear fuel line and/or accumulator replacement?

You should be able to undo the fuel lines at the top of the tank and pull
them out for replacement. I'd fasten the new one to the old one and let it
pull the new one into place. The lines are actually tied to the tank by a
removeable plastic tie on the passenger side just above where you can see
anything. That plastic anchor just slips onto a metal "T". If you push it
in the right direction, it'll slide off the tee and you can bring it out
with the lines. The lines also are anchored to the tank by some duct tape.
You can pull them free of the tape with sufficient effort. It's
surprising how well that tape still grips the lines after 14 years. I know
all this because I replaced a leaking tank on my '91 200q20v a few months ago.
