01E or 016 to V8 ?

  Ouch... so the 016 would be better to save problem. 
  I can get a 01A too , sounds goo ? its from a 90Q 1995, i would get the 3.89 rear diff too.

    The 016 appears to be a much stronger transmission as it rarely has problems. 
    Th  01E's weak link is the first gear which is remedied by replaceing the main shaft (900.00) and the first gear (345.00).
