engine stand

I always have used the "universal" orange stands. I always put the flywheel
on as I'm hoisting the engine from the stand to the car.

Gotta admit, it would make life simpler if I had the kind you are talking
about - had you considered welding up something that can sit the engine on
mounts. Just saw one for a smallblock chevy in Hot Rod mag, but would be
fairly simple to build one for the I5.

Well I've finally got most of my parts ready to get my HO engine going
together, but I've run into a unique problem. Where the hell do I buy an
engine stand head for my MC? I have about 15 Porsche stands laying arround,
and a few universals that dont fit the Audi very well. I'm definately
looking for something that I can use with the flywheel installed, and I'm
not looking to spend $30,000.
