Maybe the world isn't as used the the ease of the ones I am. I grew up in my
fathers Porsche shop, so I assumed that ALL engines would have some specific
stand that has nice long arms, I've never actually seen a stand for anything
other then a Porsche. Funny how sometimes when I see something simple by
another manufacturer that blows my mind since I've been ecased in this 1
make world all of my life. Rebuilt my first 911 engine 8 years ago, and
still have yet to do any non-horizontally opposed engine...lets hope I can
change that and get my engine back in the Q car very soon!

See Porsche engine stands (can't use universal since you have to split the
block in half) space the engine out from the stand by about 8 inches (As
seen in this pic at the very bottom right corner
http://www.blackforestpics.com/91103/P1010004). Now where the Porsche style
stand has 2 arms, I figured something for the Audi would have 4 simmilar
arms and be readily availible. I may be wrong. In one picture in the Bentley
I saw part of the type of thing I'm looking for, but I forget where it was
in the book.

If I can't find something soon, by say Wednesday night, then I'll make my
own and post some pictures.
