As much as I hate to rain on your parade, Tom, ol' Rutabaga, [the
ominous rumble of thunder is heard in the background], you're gonna be
subject to the emissions requirements of the year your motor was new.
If I recall correctly [the sound of hysterical laughter drowns out the
thunder in the background, as audifans all over the world realize the
odds against that...], your motor is from a Chrysler 300M, and that was
a 90's vintage, neh?
Cars with transplanted powerplants must meet the emissions requirements
of the newer of the two, motor or body.
