Engine conversions, another option?

Don't mean to belabor a previous thread, but I just noticed that Chevy has
been knocking out an I5 for a couple of years. Not bad specs, aluminum head and
block, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder, 3.5 liter, 220 horse. It is easy to say
"sounds like a chipped MC1". But, it seems that Chevy has now announced a turbo
option. Now, it is easy to say "a cheap RS2".
Part of the reason I mention this is that I assume that it retains the Chevy
bellhousing pattern. that means that the Kennedy adapter would work.
Personally, I would be more interested if they turboed the 4 cylinder
version. That would permit moving the radiator to where it belongs and freeing up a
lot of engine compartment.
Too much time on my hands, I suppose.
