My two thoughts:

1. Since you have the Bentley, I'd trace the wiring from battery
    to lights, checking the voltage at each junction/connection
    to see where the voltage drops.

2. After cleaning all the connections, I'd wire in relays so that
    the headlight switch trips the relay which provides power to
