*Assuming* that all the senders (things that tell the ECU info) and 
receivers (things the ECU runs) are the same spec, then, at this stage 
of development, it would work - on those cars the ECU doesn't know 
anything about TDC, etc, it just gets a Hall sender signal telling it 
when to fire each spark.

*But*, why not simply try to source a good used harness from a similar 
car?  I know you have the 4 cyl one on hand, but maybe a friendly 
junkyard or person parting one out can set you up for a fair price?
