A4 starting problems

I just purchased A '99 A4 1.8t Q;right after purchasing it I had the timing belt, tension roller, dampner, relay roller replaced toghether with the powersteering&alt belt as well as the waterpump belt.It had a slight oil leak coming from the cam adjuster gaskets so those were replaced as well.(I knew prior to purchasing that these things need to be done;I took it to a service shop that only deals with Audis and they have been doing so for 20 yrs).It has almost 60k miles on it.One morning after starting the engine the Check engine light(CEL) didn't go out as usual but after driving the car for 3-4 min I stoped the engine and turned it back on an the CEL went out as usual and did't come on all day even tough I drove 200 mi that day and the car was behaving normally. Before taking off I took the car to the Audi service that has done the work on it after the purchase and they put it on the computer and the result was that none of the 4 cyl were getting fuel but the car was not loosing
power or behaving other than usual so they advised me to give it a little more time to see what happens. The same thing happens every time I turn the engine on when it is cold.It starts a little harder than usual or it only starts at the second try and the CEL stays on but if I turn the engine off after driving tha car for a few min and turn it back on everything is normal and the CEL goes out as it's supposed to.So I imagine it is something at the starter or the fuel injection at start or with the starting process. My question is that has anything like thes happened to anyone of you?If yes what was the problem if not what do you think the could problem be and how much do you think it is going to cost me and how urgently does it need to be repaired?.Thank you very much.
                                                                                     Attila,
