I have not looked at the back of an old Delta radio in a long while
and don't remember what the antenna wiring looks like, but if it's
like most of the other more recent Audi radios, the antenna connection is
*not* "standard" (as in aftermarket radios).  They are part of the
multi-point connector blocks that plug into the radio, and if that is
what you have, you'd have to do some wire splicing.  As for the diversity
system, you could probably just leave the front antenna disconnected.
