How well do 96 Cabriolets hold up?

I'm going to look at a 96 cabriolet tomorrow, going up for auction. Appears
the timing belt let go. From the pictures it appears straight and complete
and interior in good shape. How do the auto trans hold up? I have a 96 A6q
in my driveway with 181k miles and it drives perfect, shift great. How about
the roof mechanical? I don't know if it has a power roof or manual roof. It
is green with black roof and light tan leather. If I get this I'll have to
give up my 96 A6q or my 93 S4. There may be a 96 A6q on the marketplace
soon!
