A/C stuff from a junk yard

Caveat Emptor.

If you are super lucky-the car was rear-ended and was
otherwise equipped with a superbly operation a/c unit,
carefully removed, all items properly sealed up (and
nitrogen charged) when removed...maybe.

The moisture that an "opened up" system can have
whilst sitting in the yard can ruin the items you wish
to salvage.

Try calling "Parts Place" in suburban Detroit @
248.373.2300 and explain the situation to them.  If
anyone out there could get a complete set of used
components to you at reasonable prices, it would be
them.  At least you know the used parts you would get
from them would be good, unlike those yards in South
Philly <grin>...BTDT.
